MEET DEB
I’m Deb, the heart behind Restyled Furnishings, RestyleDIY, and Debra K Art. I’m a creative at heart who believes in encouragement, connection, and the joy that comes from making something beautiful with your own hands.
My journey began as an avid home DIY crafter, painting furniture simply to make our home feel more like “us.” What started as a hobby quickly became a passion and soon, an obsession with the magic of chalk paint and transformation.
Ten years ago, I took a leap of faith and became a vendor at a charming little shop in my town. Not long after, I had the chance to purchase that very shop, turning a daydream into a full-fledged business built on creativity, community, and heart.
Today, I live in the lovely town of Edwardsburg with my husband and our two amazing kids. Whether I’m painting in my studio, teaching others through RestyleDIY, or helping someone rediscover their creative spark, I’m most fulfilled when I’m sharing creativity and connection.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
From one painted table to a full creative journey
It started with a single table, a piece I decided to paint to make our home feel a little more us. What began as a simple DIY project quickly became something deeper: a love for transformation, creativity, and the joy that comes from seeing beauty in what once felt ordinary.
That spark grew into Restyled Furnishings, a shop filled with upcycled furniture, creative classes, and a community of people who discovered that they, too, could create something beautiful.
Now, as I close this chapter and transition from my brick-and-mortar shop to focus on Debra K Art and RestyleDIY, my mission remains the same, to inspire creativity and confidence, one brushstroke and one project at a time.
